Philosophy
Billow Butler specializes in providing investment banking services to middle-market businesses. Our professionals are devoted to projects relating to capital raises for growth, refinancing, or recapitalization as well as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Our professionals have successfully completed hundreds of transactions valued in the billions of dollars, most notably in Business Services, Consumer Products, Industrial Manufacturing, Plastics, and Printing. Firms do not close deals...dealmakers close deals. Our Track Record
We have a long track record of closing sell-side, buy-side, and financing transactions that meet or exceed our clients' expectations. Over 85% of our sell-side merger and acquisition transactions have involved strategic buyers or private equity groups with existing holdings in our clients' respective industries. As a result, we are able to achieve synergistic value based on the complementary nature of the combined entity. This, coupled with our established ability to close transactions in the face of challenging circumstances, provides our clients comfort during the transaction process.
Our Focus
The term "investment banking" can comprise a wide array of different services and too often, investment banks attempt to be all things to all people. However, at Billow Butler we ascribe to the philosophy of "know what you do and do what you know." Billow Butler is in business to close transactions. All of our investigation and immersion in our client's business analysis and evaluation, our marketing, our negotiation, every single thing we do must have a direct impact on achieving that single overriding objective: closing. We relish the challenge each engagement presents; we are resolute in our drive to close each transaction; we simply will not relent until our client's objectives are achieved. We are closers. Our Size
We engage in only a select number of transactions at a given time and devote senior level attention to every transaction. Each transaction is led by a Managing Director and supported by other Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, Analysts, Associates and the resources of the entire firm. From buyer screening through due diligence, a seasoned Managing Director is immersed in the marketing of the transaction and in active communication with our client.
