BILLOW BUTLER & COMPANY CLOSES MID-AMERICA BAG / CPI PLASTICS DEAL

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS----Billow Butler & Company, L.L.C. ("BBC") announced the sale of Mid-America Bag, L.L.C. ("MAB") of North Chicago, Illinois to CPI Plastics Group Limited ("CPI") of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This was the firms 24 transactional closing.

MAB, owned by an affiliate of Fischer Investment Capital, a New Jersey-based private equity firm, is one of the largest independent plastic bag manufacturers in the United States. MAB extrudes a wide variety of high and low density polyethylene bags for the janitorial, healthcare, school and restaurant end-markets. CPI , a Canadian public company (TSE: CPI), is a leading North American supplier of extruded thermoplastic systems, functional components and decorative trims as well as an extruder of polyethylene garbage bags.

BBC is a financial advisor and investment banker to business owners wishing to sell or recapitalize their companies. BBC initiates, processes and closes business sale transactions ranging in value from $5 million to $75 million.
